Relationship writing
In class today, we hopped into groups to brainstorm different 'What would happen if...?" These ranged from what would happen if there were no birds and no trees to what would happen if there were no people.
Here is some thinking from our discussions.

Pukemokemoke
Wow! What an amazing day we had at Pukemokemoke. We started the day by climbing Pukemokemoke. A fantastic effort put in by Rm23 as it took about 1 and a half hours to climb, but the view from the top was amazing and Mrs Stent told us some great stories on the way up. Luckily it only took 20 minutes to get back down for lunch. We then had some activities in the afternoon and were lucky enough to see a wood pigeon (kereru). On our return to school, we cooled off in the pool before our picnic with family. An awesome turn out!!
Mrs Stent telling us a myth.
How big is this tree?
The view at the top was amazing!
There were lots of roots that we had to be careful walking over.

Swimming
This term swimming is the focus for our PE lessons. We are lucky to have Kelly Sports supporting us with our groups. Hopefully you will have heard that the pool is now solar heated and the children have definitely noticed a difference already!
Here are a few photos from swimming already and will be updated as the term progresses.
