Here we are eating these delicious apples that room 3 delivered to us because we gave them amazing ideas about what we could do with them so we don't waste them.
Here are some pieces of writing from the children about the gully. They have used great adjectives in their writing. Let us know what you like about the stories.
Senses of the gully
I see forest of lite colours with the sun beaming on top
I hear orchestras of sounds rising to the canopy as I creep across the gully
Cicadas and insects making the wonders and sounds of nature.
I see trees and plants rising to the sunset.
I smell the sweetness of nature and leaves as they rush past me.
The sun beams and the shadows crawl as I walk from natures own eye, a
different point of view.

Gully senses
I heard an orchestra of animals chirping and singing all day
I saw trees leaping over me like the cow who jumped over the moon
I smelled the sweet smell of pollen as it rushed past me
I felt the wind rushing through my ear

Gully sense
I saw spider webs shining like crystals, trees blooming like flowers, bees swirling
around the trees and mud covering the ground like a swamp.
I hear the wind whistling a song so peaceful I could faint.
I can feel the cool breeze pushing against my skin.
I can smell the pollen and mint floating through the air.

Gully senses
I smelt a sweet pollen and the fresh air swirling round and round from the
bottom to the top of my body.
I heard clicking bugs needing friends to play with and birds showing off their
beautiful songs.
I saw bees buzzing and spiders building nests for their babies.
It’s such a nice culture

Lovely sense of the gully
I hear a band of insects singing in the gully
It sounds soft.
I smell fresh air and trees.
The trees look like giant fingers in the sky.
We had lots of time to write it down.
The leaves are like waves in the sky.

Gully sense
I see a tower of trees and raining leaves.
I hear the band of cicadas and fantails going, cheep cheep and zzzzzz
I smell the minty air and sweetness of nature flying around to greet me politely.
I feel the shade has left and the sun has come to say hello and it’s leaving its
warmness behind.

The gully
I saw an enormous mountain of varying kinds of trees, broken and falling into an
ocean of mud.
I smelt a band of sweetness and mint come rushing over my nose.
I heard fantails flying and singing a soft chirp.
I felt a lake of a plant sticky enough to fall into an ocean.
